For our 450th show, we are paying tribute to the late Award-winning composer, Burt Bacharach (1928-2023) with two hours of his music, his sound. His partnership with lyricist Hal David (1921-2012) from 1957 to 1973 was instrumental as part of the 1960s sound (along with John Lennon & Paul McCartney, and Lamont Dozier and Brian & Eddie Holland, among composing teams). Bacharach won Oscars and Grammys for his music, which included the Oscar-winning "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" and the Tony winning musical "Promises, Promises".
