Michelle Obama talks about the struggle of the average-income earner to raise a family; mural artist Kyra Kopestonski paints to a ballet, and farmers and foodies at the Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association talk about their farming visions. Thank you to Jamendo.com for the creative commons piano music by Rob Costlow and his track "I Do."

But first, an update from Elisa Young who is fighting the construction of five coal power plants in Meigs County. As part of her campaign to educate the public about the destruction the plants will bring to the environment and the health of people living in Meigs, Elisa traveled to the Dover, Ohio area for a city council meeting and presented her concerns alongside AMP. Elisa made three presentations this wee, including one to Oberlin and another in Cleveland.

It's a true David and Goliath story, with Elisa fighting against the degradation of the county where her family has owned a farm since the American Revolution. If you'd like to help Elisa Young fight what is slated to become the largest concentration of coal-fired power plants in the US, please email her at elisayoung1@yahoo.com.
