- Hilliard Bradley High School opens in Hilliard, the third High School in the Hilliard City Schools District.
- Kathy A. Krendl becomes the first Female President of Otterbein ~~College~~University.
- Bob Kendrick replaces Gabe Spiegel as the Evening Anchorman at WSYX ABC 6/WTTE Fox 28.
