This edition of The World Party celebrates music from the Italo Disco era of the late 1970s through the early 1990s -- Featuring a music mix from Italo Disco artists such as Modern Talking, Albert One, Gazebo, Savage, Fancy, Sabrina, and more. Italo Disco is a music genre that features heavy use of synthesizers, electronic drums, and lyrics sung in English, Spanish or Italian (and occasionally a combination of all three). Italo Disco was extremely popular in Italy and throughout most of Europe. It is starting to experience a come-back and many of these artists are playing again to sell-out crowds in many parts of the world.
