PSA Israeli Seige & War Crimes Against Palestinian Civilians Protest 04AUG2014, 4pm
0:56 minutes (882.18 KB)
"After more than two weeks the Israeli siege of Gaza has caused immeasurable damage and claimed hundreds of lives of Palestinian civilians - many of them women and children. The United Nations is investigating charges of war crimes. Meanwhile the U.S. senate has voted unanimously to step up U.S. aid for Israel. But hundreds of thousands of people around the world are demonstrating for a just peace in the region, and you can, too. There will be a protest for peace in Palestine on Friday, August 1 at 4 pm at Broad and High. The theme of the march will be a peaceful call for justice, ceasing the seige and ending the occupation. Again, that's
Friday, August 1 at 4 pm at Broad and High."

Conscious Voices A Just Peace in Palestine
59:23 minutes (54.37 MB)
On the third weekend in July there was a rally in Columbus which drew an estimated 3,000 people demanding an end to Israel's assault on Gaza and to the occupation. It was one of many such rallies around the world and in the U.S., yet all of those rallies received scant coverage in the Western media. In this edition we have an interview with Reema Al-Waridat, a Palestinian American who organized last week's rally and is co-organizing another, scheduled for Friday, August 1 at 4 pm at Broad and High. We also have 3 reports sourced from Russia Today discussing the current siege and the history behind it. With musical bridges from Ghalia Benali and Rim Bana
