# 276 - Go Blue Wave '18

59:40 minutes (54.63 MB)

Tonight on the show, the 115th Annual "The Game" takes place on Saturday November 24 at Ohio Stadium as the # 10 Ohio State B*ckeyes host the # 4 Michigan Wolverines, the second time in the last three years both schools are in the Top Ten in the annual rivalry. Also for the second time in three years, ESPN's College Game Day will broadcast LIVE from The Ohio State University on November 24 before the Noon game, which will air for the second straight year on FOX.

DJBC's Pick: Michigan 28, "You Know Who" 21
- Michigan is pissed off for many reasons. 1) They played poorly against Indiana...again. 2) The last time they were in Columbus, the referees gave OSU the crucial first down in overtime, when it was abundantly clear that J.T. Barrett was short on 4th and Inches. 3) The B*ckeyes have won 15 of the last 17 meetings, and Michigan hasn't won in Columbus since 2000.
- This is only the third time in the last 27 years that Michigan is favored in Columbus. They are 0-1-1, with the loss coming the last time they were favored, 2004 (a 37-21 win, when Tressel deliberately locked Michigan in their locker rooms), and the tie coming in 1992, in what then-OSU President Dr. E. Gordon Gee called, "One of the greatest B*ckeye victories ever". 1988 (or 1990) was the last time Michigan won in Columbus as the clear favorite.
- Ohio State's defense is bad...really bad. They let a 2-6 Nebraska team hang around for the whole game. They let Indiana and Minnesota hang around too long. They allowed TWO 75+ yard touchdowns against both Oregon State and Maryland (who were a combined 7-15, as of the airing of this show). They allowed a 93-yard score against TCU (whose own season fell apart during the third quarter of said game). They can't stop the run, and the loss of Nick Bosa to both a season-ending injury and next Spring's NFL Draft has hurt.
- Haskins is not a mobile quarterback like Shea Patterson (or Haskins' ancestors - Barrett, Miller, or even Cardale Jones).
