1961. A charismatic wealthy politician takes office as President. Turmoil in Cuba. Turmoil in Berlin. Freedom Riders down South. Riots on the Ohio State Campus (because the University didn't want their spoiled little B*ckeyes to go to the Rose Bowl. Yeah, it did happen, and they still found a way to win a National Championship, despite the fact they didn't play in a Bowl Game). That was the year that was.
