Any ideas on fundraisers for WCRS ?

I ask this because to my knowledge there hasn't been a fundraiser in more than a year. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If I'm not mistaken, the last WCRS fundraiser was at KOBO over a year ago, right? It's been a while, because Jayme Richards was still w/ Simply Living. Come to think of it, I am wondering whether we haven't had any fundraisers because no one's doing what she was doing.

Eugene, Evan, and I wrote a grant proposal that involved (perhaps regrettably) the idea of holding in-person public forums at which we'd gather input from the general public, using audio, video, photos and written materials.

We have until Dec of this year to wrap up the Puffin Foundation grant follow thru. Maybe some sort of WCRS fundraiser could be part of some type of forum.

Any ideas on possible topics for the public forum ? That's a question we'd be wise to answer well in advance. And of course there are logistical matters to attend to.
