WCRS Podcast - Street Fight

Street Fight with Brett Payne and Bryan Quinby - 6/14/2012

58:36 minutes (53.65 MB)

Thanks for coming back! We are here every week and will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary or WCRS next week! It's going to be huge, we have a lot planned for it.

So this week in preparation for the one year show we actually took a look at the past. The second half of the show was a recap of our old show we did on 95.3 The Wolf and it was really embarrassing. I apologize in advance but hopefully you get a good laugh at it.

We got unusually personal at the beginning of the show discussing our dads and what makes a great one. Bryan talks about the hardships of being a hell raising dad without a hell raising dad to guide him.

We talked about this presidential election and what great costumes these guys are going to dress up in this time. So with that in mind we are now taking bets on when Mitt Romney is going to pile into a pick up truck full of hay to drive around at a state fair. Contact us via voicemail or email with your picks!!

The music this week was provided by Day Creeper

Welcome!! or happy to have you back. You've found yourself one click away from hearing the number one comedy anarchist podcast in the nation. This week was huge.

Of course we got into Wisconsin and the recall election. Brett would rather have everyone in the state get a free month of Netflix than watch two actors have a money fight.

Speaking of Netflix Bryan is losing his patience with them and specifically the movie Born 2 Race. We also discussed how we're going to maintain Hollywood and Sports after the revolution.

That was about 10 minutes of what we did on the show this week. There's 40 more minutes of jokes and ideas cram packed into this weeks show. You're listening to the kings of community radio at the top of their game every single week. Subscribe to the show with your phone or Ipod and listen in the car, get at us on twitter, and tell us what you think about what we feel is important every week.

Great show this week, we stomped it. Thanks for tuning in. We started with some discussion about drugs and all the bologna the media is putting out about the "Florida Zombie". You should listen to it because we are the real experts when it comes to drug issues.

We talked about war momentarily (well Bryan took a chainsaw to war apologists but Brett reared him in.)

We also took some time to put the spotlight on Brett who is an undecided voter. Every day he wakes up with no idea who he could vote for. It's time to make your plea people!

Street Fight with Brett Payne and Bryan Quinby - 5/24/2012

57:57 minutes (53.05 MB)

Amazing show this week as usual. We started off with a conversation about a new hero in the Street Fight hall of fame named Ryan Kitner. Who decided to tell the police he has the right to tell the rest of us when they're ticketing people and he won!! So take some time this weekend to prevent the cops from writing tickets by flashing your lights at oncoming traffic.

We had an incredible guest this week. If you follow Street Fight closely you know that the people we interview don't always agree with us and this was no different. Bryan had to kick him out after he proposed an entire school be held back a grade in order to punish the principle. Really weird dude.

Thanks for tuning in every week; we really appreciate it. We're working on making this thing huge and you can help. Just share with a friend. Tell 'em about it and what we're doing. Let you Facebook family know, hit up your twitter with the word about the new kings of political comedy.

Bryan is back this week! If you listened to Brett's solo show last week send him your condolences via email to
streetfightradio@gmail.com
or leave a voicemail at 209-677-7469.

SO this week we had a very special guest. He's running for judge in Columbus and his name is John Franklin. He came into the studio to explain how his particular brand of law and order works. Email or voicemail us your comments on what this nut job had to say. I'm still flummoxed by his coaching method.

We also brought you some news from the bus stop this week. Sometimes we get a hot tip, for example, that pink slime is being replaced with a fly filling in your hamburgers. Tune in for details.

Thank you for returning every week and listening to us. We really appreciate it. Take the time this week to tell a friend or share this show on facebook, twitter, tumblr, reddit, etc.

Find us on twitter @BrettPain and @MurderBryan or find us on facebook by searching Murder Rebel Radio.

This week we discussed the awful handling of everything by the media and why the american public can't ever seem to discuss issues that don't play out like TV shows.

We also had Roger Stanley in the studio for an update on sports that quickly turned into Brett pummeling him with ears of corn. You're going to have to tune in for the details.

Finally we discussed the May 1st general strike and what you can do to get involved (do nothing, just stay home from work and don't conduct business).

Remember that this weekend is Intifada Columbus, where Bryan will be performing with Adam from Murder Rebel Radio in the only monthly comedy revolution in Columbus!
