Today is November 30, 2021. A Tuesday. Not just any Tuesday, but the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. This day has been designated as the "Online Day of Giving" during the Holiday Season, Giving Tuesday.

This Giving Tuesday, we highly encourage you to spread some cheer to WCRS, you low-powered, FM radio station, that is 100 percent powered by hard-working volunteers. Community Radio is not free. WCRS does have licensing fees (to the FCC, plus BMI and ASCAP, not to mention), and maintenance fees, in related to our transmitter and antenna, as well.

"The DJBC Happy Hour" will celebrate its 400th Show on Monday November 15, 2021 at 8PM on WCRS-FM. For the last decade and 400 shows, this unconventional show has been through it all.

The 400th Show will be followed with the Annual Thanksgiving Show on November 22, which will also preview the Ohio State/Michigan Game, which returns on November 27 at High Noon after being cancelled in 2020. November 14, 21, and 29 on The DJBC Classic - You will see last year's Thanksgiving Show tri-sected with the Thanksgiving Show on November 14 at 12PM, the preview of (What Would Have Been) "The Game" on November 21 at 12PM, and the show after "The Game" got cancelled on November 29 at 8PM.

And on Sundays from November 28 through January 2 at Noon, The DJBC Holiday Brunch will go through the Time Machine with an hour straight of Holiday Music from a Different Decade.

The DJBC Happy Hour airs on Monday Nights at 8PM, right here on WCRS. The DJBC Classic airs on Sundays at Noon on WCRS.

Jeff Chang who wrote CAN’T STOP WON’T STOP was discussing the 2021 edition of his 2005 CAN'T STOP WON'T STOP book.

Can't Stop Won't Stop contextualizes Rap's Legacy with the recent Social Revolution after the George Floyd Murder in the 2021 Young Adult release.

WCRS and the city of Columbus recently lost a brilliant member of our musicial community, Tony "Doctah X" Harrington. We are going to be paying tribute to his memory this weekend by airing a marathon of his show Prescriptions from Friday at 9PM on January 1st 2021 until 12PM Noon January 2nd 2021. If you would like to share a recording of your memories of Doctah X for us to broadcast e-mail them to localshows AT wcrsfm.org and we will try to include it in our broadcast.
