# 360 - Thanksgiving Show X

59:34 minutes (54.54 MB)

Tonight on the show, this is our 10th Annual Thanksgiving Show, and our 360th Show.

- The Latest in COVID-19 in Columbus. Franklin County is under a Stay at Home Advisory, which means that it is recommended that you leave only for essential items. The State of Ohio is under a 21-Day Curfew between the hours of 10PM and 5AM. Community Leaders and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) discourage traveling for Thanksgiving, or celebrating Thanksgiving outside of where you currently live, in order to stop the spread of COVID-19.
- The Revenge Tour Round-Up: Joe Milton, we hardly knew ye. The Cade McNamERA has begun at Michigan, as the redshirt Sophomore Quarterback lifted Michigan from a 17-point hole to a triple-overtime win at lowly Rutgers (yeah, the same New Jersey school Harbaugh's teams have outscored 256-37 the last FIVE years).
- The Weekend Warrior: Where the Light Shows and Virtual Tree Lightings Are.

# 359 - The Roman Spring of Jim Harbaugh?

59:10 minutes (54.18 MB)

Tonight on the DJBC Happy Hour:
- COVID-19 is getting worse. Ohio is on the road for yet another shutdown as cases are getting worse.
- The Sad State of the Wolverines: Fresh off their first loss to the Hoosiers in 33 years, the Wolverines have their WORST Home Loss in 85 years Under the Lights against a Wisconsin team that hadn't played for 22 days (due to a COVID outbreak with the Badgers)
- Can Indiana knock off Ohio in Columbus for the first time in 33 years this Saturday?
- The Holidays are here, socially distant.
- Jack and Susan return with a very special guest.
- How would the show have celebrated if Maryland had knocked off Ohio (Remember: The Ohio/Maryland Football Game was canceled due to a COVID-19 Outbreak with the Maryland Football Team.)

# 317 - A New Day of Terror: Eight Straight to O-HI-O?

59:53 minutes (54.84 MB)

Tonight, it's "Beat Ohio Week" on The DJBC Happy Hour. But...will they? Or will it be a record eighth straight loss to "That School" (They call themselves the B*ckeyes).

# 276 - Go Blue Wave '18

59:40 minutes (54.63 MB)

Tonight on the show, the 115th Annual "The Game" takes place on Saturday November 24 at Ohio Stadium as the # 10 Ohio State B*ckeyes host the # 4 Michigan Wolverines, the second time in the last three years both schools are in the Top Ten in the annual rivalry. Also for the second time in three years, ESPN's College Game Day will broadcast LIVE from The Ohio State University on November 24 before the Noon game, which will air for the second straight year on FOX.

DJBC's Pick: Michigan 28, "You Know Who" 21
- Michigan is pissed off for many reasons. 1) They played poorly against Indiana...again. 2) The last time they were in Columbus, the referees gave OSU the crucial first down in overtime, when it was abundantly clear that J.T. Barrett was short on 4th and Inches. 3) The B*ckeyes have won 15 of the last 17 meetings, and Michigan hasn't won in Columbus since 2000.
- This is only the third time in the last 27 years that Michigan is favored in Columbus. They are 0-1-1, with the loss coming the last time they were favored, 2004 (a 37-21 win, when Tressel deliberately locked Michigan in their locker rooms), and the tie coming in 1992, in what then-OSU President Dr. E. Gordon Gee called, "One of the greatest B*ckeye victories ever". 1988 (or 1990) was the last time Michigan won in Columbus as the clear favorite.
- Ohio State's defense is bad...really bad. They let a 2-6 Nebraska team hang around for the whole game. They let Indiana and Minnesota hang around too long. They allowed TWO 75+ yard touchdowns against both Oregon State and Maryland (who were a combined 7-15, as of the airing of this show). They allowed a 93-yard score against TCU (whose own season fell apart during the third quarter of said game). They can't stop the run, and the loss of Nick Bosa to both a season-ending injury and next Spring's NFL Draft has hurt.
- Haskins is not a mobile quarterback like Shea Patterson (or Haskins' ancestors - Barrett, Miller, or even Cardale Jones).

The DJBC Happy Hour Thanksgiving Promo '18

0:45 minutes (712.29 KB)

Promo for # 276, "Go Blue Wave" of The DJBC Happy Hour. November 19 at 8PM (and if Ohio State wins in 2018, this promo will be repeated in 2019).

# 238: Could This FINALLY Be The Year...?

59:50 minutes (54.79 MB)

Tonight on the show, the final word on Headlines for 2017. Plus, a little Thanksgiving. And could this finally be the year that Michigan beats Ohio State? (The B*ckeyes have won 14 of the last 16, with no apparent end in sight.)

The 114th Edition of The Game airs at Noon on Saturday November 25 on FOX.

# 199: "Make College Football Great Again: BEAT OHIO STATE!"

59:44 minutes (54.69 MB)

Tonight on the show, THE GAME (Round 113) as Michigan looks for their first win over the B*ckeyes since 2011, and their first win in Columbus since 2000, in the biggest game of this rivalry since # 1 vs. # 2 in 2006 (a 42-39 B*ckeyes win), with the B*ckeyes at # 2 and Michigan at # 3. What is standing in the way is (a) the questionable Michigan quarterback situation, which we'll be kept in suspense until Saturday morning and (b) Urban Meyer. The B*ckeyes have won 13 of the last 15 meetings (2001-15), after Michigan won 10 out of 13 during the John Cooper Era (1988-2000).

THE Game:
Noon (ET) on ABC
B*ckeyes are a Touchdown Favorite

ESPN College GameDay will be LIVE from The Ohio State:
7AM to 10AM - Outside of the RPAC (W. 17th Ave.)
10:30 to Kickoff - Southwest Corner of The Shoe (inside Ohio Stadium)

PREDICTION(s):
With Speight at QB: Michigan 28, B*ckeyes 27 (Michigan's special teams blocks a crucial PAT; Jourdan Lewis seals the win with a pick; Peppers gets a pick-six and a punt return for TDs; J.T. throws one-play, 70-plus yard strikes to both Dontre Wilson and Curtis Samuel, before getting shut down in 2nd half)
With O'Korn at QB: B*ckeyes 35, Michigan 17 ("Fire Harbaugh" chants start rumbling)

OTHER GAMES OF RELEVANCE this weekend:
Penn State 24, Little Brothers 19
Alabama 30, Auburn 10
Washington 27, Washington State 21
USC 38, Notre Dame 10 (buh-bye, Bryan Kelly; hello, Urban Meyer?)
Utah 27, Colorado 16

# 166: Thanksgiving Show V: H4IL to the Victors Valiant

The DJBC Happy Hour is a weekly radio show on WCRS-FM, hosted by the DJBC himself. The show changes themes from week to week, keeping the show fresh, and the listeners on their toes.

59:48 minutes (54.75 MB)

Tonight on the show,

#TheGame: # 8-ranked Ohio State B*ckeyes (10-1, 6-1) travel to Ann Arbor to play # 12-ranked Michigan (9-2, 6-1) in the 112th edition of "The Rivalry". For the first time in 28 years, two coaches who know and deeply understand the importance of the rivalry take center stage.

Can Michigan beat Ohio, or will the B*cks make it 13 out of 15? Michigan is coming off a lackluster 28-16 win at Penn State, while Ohio's 23-game winning streak was snapped in a 17-14 loss to Michigan State.

- Since 1930, first-year Michigan coaches are 7-1 in "The Game": 2011 (40-34 win; Brady Hoke); 2008 (the one skidmark: a 42-7 Ohio thumping; R*ch R*dr*g**z); 1995 (31-23 win; Lloyd Carr, after Ohio receiver Terry Glenn talked smack); 1990 (16-13 win in Columbus; Gary Moeller); 1969 (24-12 - snapping Ohio's 22-game winning streak; "The Greatest College Football Team Ever Assembled" was Ohio in '69; Bo Schembechler); 1959 (23-14 win; Bump Elliott); 1948 (13-3 win; Bennie Oosterbaan; last outright UM National Championship); 1938 (18-0 win; Fritz Crisler).

- This is the first meeting where both teams are ranked in the AP Poll since 2012 (a 26-21 Ohio win in Columbus), and the Coaches' Poll since 2007 (a 14-3 Ohio win in Ann Arbor). The last Michigan win when both teams were ranked was 2003 (35-21 win; since then Ohio has gone 10-1).

- Jim Harbaugh was 2-0 as a starting quarterback (1985: a 27-17 win in Ann Arbor; 1986: "The Guarantee", a 26-24 win in Columbus) at Michigan, the latter game, Ohio Head Coach Urban Meyer was a graduate assistant under Earle Bruce.

- First game in "The Game" since 1987 (Earle Bruce & Bo Schembechler) with two coaches that understand the importance of this game.

- Since 1951, first-year Michigan coaches are 0-7 against Michigan State, but 5-1 against the B*ckeyes.

- No first-year Michigan coach has lost to the B*cks in Ann Arbor since 1929 (a 7-0 Ohio win).

In the show, the DJBC talks about Thanksgiving, and previews the 111th meeting between those B*ckeyes and Michigan, and why it could be the end for Brady Hoke.
