How do we improve WCRS as a tool for creating more relationships of mutual aid in our communities ?
I ask this from pursuing a better sense of what we can achieve. One ongoing question for me is this.
What does WCRS enable people in the community to do that a website does not enable us to do ? So, far the answer is that our broadcast capacity enables people to listen to content from their automobiles, as well as enable people w/o internet access to hear the content via their radios (assuming they're getting good enough reception.

Robb's right about needing to do a better job of linking WCRS content to Facebook, Twitter, and other sites.

Yeah, making better use of social media is important no doubt. But we also have to combine that w/ getting more WCRS reporters in the community talking w/ people.

Good points about being out in our communities more and making better use of social media. But let's not obsess about how big our audience is.

I don't think it's a matter of obsessing about how many people listen to WCRS. Instead it's a matter of wanting our media outlet to be useful to people in our communities. So in that sense, it does matter how many people are listening.
But, sure, we shouldn't be playing the sort of numbers game that the commercial stations that depend on ad revenue might be playing.
